Get Outside and Play
Tahoe is as much a playground for doggies as it is for us humans. Take your pup outside and play in the snow in the winter, or in Lake Tahoe in the summer! When the weather is nice, go for a trail run with your pup or a nice long hike. If your dog likes to swim, let them play in the big blue water of Lake Tahoe. We have many dog friendly beaches all around Tahoe for pups that play nicely with others. Don’t forget about our beaches in the winter when the snow falls, as they can be equally as fun as the warmer months. Grab a ball and play fetch on the shores of Kiva Beach on the South Shore, one of our pet friendly beaches. Most of the popular summer hiking and mountain biking trails turn into popular snowshoeing and cross country skiing trails when they are covered with snow. Everything looks magical when trees, rocks and trails are covered in a fresh layer of powder. Strap on your snowshoes and take a trek on parts of the Tahoe Rim Trail!
Grab a Bite to Eat

When the weather is nice, which it thankfully is here a lot, many of our local restaurants will open up their outdoor seating. At these restaurants, well behaved dogs are always welcome to sit by you as you enjoy your own meal.
