Location
This 5 bedroom home is located in the coveted lakefront community of Skyland in Zephyr Cove, NV. This community features a mix of permanent residents, long term renters and vacation rentals. As a renter, you will feel like you are part of the community. Guest have access to the Skyland community beach, that is walking distance from the Lilac Lodge. The perfect place for an afternoon dip on a hot summer day.
During the summer, you are less than a mile away from Zephyr Cove Resort & Marina. This popular beach spot has everything needed to enjoy a day on the Lake. From jet ski rentals, gorgeous sandy beaches, safe swimming areas, volley ball nets, restaurant, bar and more – Zephyr Cove is a favorite spot of many. The Zephyr Cove Stables are across the street for those who are more equestrian inclined.
Bring up bikes (or rent them), and take the mile long bike trail to Zephyr Cove Resort & Marina. Perfect for those crowded summer days when you want to avoid road congestion!
This home is just far enough away from the casinos, but close enough that after a quick drive you can immerse yourself in our downtown Heavenly Village. During the winter, the Heavenly Mountain Resort’s gondola runs from the Heavenly Village at the stateline (11 minutes away). The Round Hill Shopping center, only 6 minutes away from Lilac Lodge, is the closest grocery store to stock up on everything needed for your vacation.
Lilac Lodge
The entry to Lilac Lodge is on the lowest floor, which is home to the large game room, a bedroom, laundry room and garage as well as one full bathroom and one half bathroom. The game room features a large sectional and another leather couch and a pool table. Enjoy filtered views of Lake Tahoe out on the game room deck in between games of pool.
The second floor contains the main living areas, including the living room and the kitchen. The kitchen includes hardwood floors, brick walls and a movable island providing extra counter space. The home is stocked with all kitchenware, dinnerware and flatware needed to prepare a gourmet meal.
The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen, and features a large wood burning fireplaces and floor to ceiling windows offering filtered lake views while you enjoy your meal. The cozy living room is also on this second level, with cozy couches that invite you to relax by the fireplace or watch a movie. There is a small wet bar perfect for whipping up a delicious cocktail. There is a deck that wraps around from the kitchen to the living room, where you can watch the sun set over Lake Tahoe throughout the year.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom is a secluded retreat of its own, as it is located on the top level of this luxury home. Being on the lake side of the home, you can wake up in the morning and seeing filtered views of Lake Tahoe without getting out of the king sized bed! When it is chilly, start a fire in the wood burning fireplace to instantly warm up the room. There is also a private deck that also offers fabulous lake views. A large en suite bathroom features a large Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and large vanity.
Three bedrooms are located on the main level, all with their own private bathroom. One of the bedrooms is one the lake side, and has filtered lake views deck access. All these bedrooms feature queen sized beds. The final bedroom is on the bottom level, and has two twin beds. This room also has its own private full bathroom. Each occupant will have their own privacy in which ever room they choose!
Rates
Nightly rates start at $600 per night in the off season, and $850 per night in the summer. Holiday periods do have increased rates (please inquire for exact amount). Cleaning fees and taxes will apply.
