Are you ready for the 24th Annual Lake in the Sky Air Show?? The tradition started in 1990, and has continued to grow every year since! The fun begins Friday August 23rd at the South Lake Tahoe Airport. Head to The Flight Deck, where you can kick off the weekend with live music, food and guest speakers.
Set those alarms on Saturday, because the entertainment begins bright and early! Start off your day with a pancake breakfast at 8 – 11. Once your belly is stuffed, walk around and meet pilots, and let the little ones climb around the planes! The day opens with a skydiving demo at 9:30, a glider demo and then the opening ceremonies at 10:30am. See a full schedule below:

Throughout the whole day there is a beer and wine garden for those of age. For those that are a bit younger, they can enjoy the bounce house, face painting and lots of games and activities!
The lake Tahoe Airport is located on 901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe CA 96150. There will be a free shuttle from the ‘Y’ transit station to the airport (8am – 4pm), and also South Lake Tahoe public transportation.
