Beautiful Aspen Trees Changing Color

Beautiful Aspen Trees Changing Color

Most people booking South Lake Tahoe vacation rentals are focusing on the popular seasons of summer and winter.  There are a lot of advantages to booking during the “off-seasons” like autumn, for instance.  The number one advantage is lower nightly rates.  Most Lake Tahoe rental companies offer discounted rates during the slower seasons to try to generate more bookings.  Also, being a slower season, there are less visitors in town giving you easier access to activities, events and shows — some of which offer lower rates during the slower seasons as well.  Some of the activities you can enjoy in the fall are hiking, biking, sightseeing cruises, horseback riding and watching the aspen tree leaves change color.  Another advantage of the autumn season is the mild temperatures we experience; warm days and cool nights are the norm in early autumn.  It is typically mild during the month of October, occasionally there can be small snow storms, but they are rare.
